INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION · TEXAS LODGING · VETERAN-FOUNDED
Wherever you’re starting from, the gap is the same.
Texas requires approved training and posted signage. Some properties have both, some have neither, and most are somewhere in between. It doesn’t change the question. Nothing you hold has been examined by anyone outside your building — and that is the file an inspector, an underwriter, and a plaintiff’s attorney will each ask you for.
Audits anchored to Texas HB 390 and Business & Commerce Code Chapter 114.
Voluntary. Non-governmental. Dated, scored, and signed by an independent auditor.
WHEREVER YOU’RE STARTING FROM
Five starting points.
Everyone of them ends the same way.
Nothing yet
Nothing to show
The free state training
That training happened
Certificates on file
That a course was completed
A brand or corporate program
That a standard was set
Your own checklist
That you looked
Not one of them is independent. An independent examination is the row that isn’t on this list — and it is the one an underwriter asks for.

Fifteen questions. None of them can be answered from inside your building.
This is not a checklist. There is nothing on it you can fix by working harder this weekend — and that is deliberate. Every question is about who has checked, not about what you have done.
- No dimensions, no font sizes, no list of policies to write.
- Answer Yes only if you have the document in your hand.
- You get your score and your band immediately, by email.
- If you score clean, we will tell you so and that is the end of it.

QUESTIONS – 10 MINUTES
0–1 A verification layer exists
2–5 Pieces, nothing holding them
6–10 Records, never verified
11–15 Nobody outside has looked
HOW IT WORKS
Four steps. One standard: evidence.
STEP 1
The Diagnostic
Fifteen questions you answer yourself. It tells both of us whether there is anything here worth examining — and it costs you ten minutes.
STEP 2
The Examination
42 controls across six domains: records testing on sampled folios, on-site observation, structured staff interviews, and the written procedures behind them. Twenty to forty hours of professional work.
STEP 3
Findings and Corrective Plan
A scored findings report and a corrective action plan with owners and dates. We identify and verify. We do not remediate — that stays yours.
STEP 4
The Dated Record
A certificate with an audit date and a signature on it, plus a re-audit that verifies your remediation. An audit you don’t act on is worse than none.
Why the corrective plan is not an upsell.
An audit showing gaps you then fixed is favorable — it demonstrates you assessed your operation and remediated. An audit showing gaps you did not fix is worse than no audit at all, because it proves knowledge without action. That is why the plan is part of every engagement and the re-audit verifies it.
Evidence is the standard. See you at re-audit.

Final pricing depends on property size band and configuration. Founder Cohort pricing — reduced in exchange for a reference — is available to the first eight properties and does not persist beyond them.
What no price includes.
Remediation. We identify and verify; we do not do the work. Training delivery. We verify providers; we do not sell training — approved training is free in Texas. Signage supply. We measure and verify; we do not sell signs.
STANDARDS & INDEPENDENCE
Why the independence is the product.
- Anchored to the statute, then above it. Every examination starts at Texas HB 390 and Business & Commerce Code Chapter 114 — the statutory floor — and then tests the operational controls the statute never asks about.
- Scored, in writing, against a published scale. Met, partially met, or absent. Every finding reads from a documented corrective-action log the property can see.
- Dated and re-earned. The certificate carries the audit date. No back-dating, ever.
- Non-governmental. No agency issues, endorses, or approves this work — which is exactly why the disclaimer appears on every report and certificate.
- Voluntary, and we say so first. No statute requires a third-party audit. We will tell you that before you ask. Any vendor implying otherwise is misrepresenting themselves.
- Veteran-founded, Texas-based. Yellow Rose Verification Group, LLC is a Texas limited liability company.
